Fukushima Daiichi on TEPCO Cams

Visible conditions (on webcams) at Fukushima Daiichi have been pretty constant for the last couple of weeks without any substantial changes that I've noticed.

One interesting effect that I've seen day in and day out is the oscillation in color noted below, from purple to black:

The screenshot above was taken Jan 29 at 00:49 whereas the one below was taken Jan 29 at 1:12, roughly 20 minutes later. As you can see the purple light is gone.

The phasing in and out of the purple light is hard to explain. Perhaps there is a light source below the field of view?

Another observation documented in the screenshots in the link below is elevated radiation levels in the US that coincide with the jet stream:

  1. I do not see how there can be so many people working around fukushima daichii with high enough emmisions going on like this. Does not make sense.

  2. Daiichi is a steaming radioactive mess where workers wear protective gear and limit their time working in that hell-hole.

  3. I feel bad for those workers. They must be pretty sick, dying or on the verge of death. Makes me nauseous thinking about it. Worse than nazi slave labor in world war too or african american slavery in the pre civil war united states
