Radiation Readings Back Down in Kyushu Japan

Levels have dropped in that region back to ordinary averages.

I wonder if a reactor scram would require subsequent venting of radioactive gas?

Or perhaps the plume came from someplace else?

Radiation levels are still elevated in the far north area of Japan.
